What students say

Real progress, in their own words

Most of our students are based in Vietnam, but learners from anywhere are welcome.

“Before I was so scared to speak English in class. My teacher Tom is very patient and we laugh a lot in lessons, so I forget to be nervous. Now I can talk about my family, my hobby, my weekend, small things but for me is big! My school marks also better this term.”

Nguyễn Thị Linh, 16 years old, High School student from Hà Nội

“Next year I want to study BA Business Management in the UK, so I need good IELTS score. My speaking was the weakest part. The lessons here are not boring like school. We talk about films, news, normal things. After 4 months my speaking is much more confident.”

Trần Văn Minh, 21 years old university student from Biên Hòa

“My company started working with Japanese clients, and suddenly I had to join meetings in English every week. My writing was okay, but speaking on calls was very stressful for me. The teacher built the lessons around my real work. We practised phone calls, presentations, and also how to disagree with a client in a polite way. After six months, I can lead the calls by myself. I really recommend this school.”

Phạm Thu Hương, 29 years old employee from Đà Nẵng

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does a lesson cost?

Lesson rates depend on the teacher, length, and format (one-to-one or small group). The easiest way to know is to book a free onboarding. We'll walk you through the options and set up a plan for you.

When are lessons available?

Across evenings and weekends, accommodating timezones from Europe to East Asia. Once you sign up, you'll see every available slot in your own local time.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

You can cancel or reschedule yourself from your dashboard up to 24 hours before a lesson. Any later than that and the lesson is chargeable. See our Terms of Use and Safeguarding Policy for the details.

Is there a minimum age?

Our minimum age is 13. For students between 13 and 17, we ask a parent or guardian to be aware of the account. See our Safeguarding Policy for full details.

How do payments work?

You top up your account balance with a card payment, processed by Stripe so we never see your card details. Lessons are drawn from your balance as you take them. Unused balance can be refunded on request.
